This urban farmhouse was a new construction project. NRC Homes demolished the existing small, cramped house and built the new house in its place, preserving a small section of the old foundation. The white painted built-in cabinetry and shelves keep the house light and bright while providing ample storage. Heated polished concrete floors on the ground floor lend a little bit of modernity to the traditional setting. The backyard cottage with its covered patio is a wonderful place to relax. Architecture by Board & Vellum and photography by Northwest Residential Photography. Birch tree murals in the attic by Julia Godiashcheva of Art Time.
