This home was built in 1923, in a traditional Tyrolean style. The homebuilder was an immigrant from Austria who missed his home country!
The kitchen, while original to the house, has been remodeled in the 1980s, and was showing its age -- both in terms of functionality and in its unfortunate nod to 80s design! We remodeled the kitchen, the breakfast room, and the mudroom, adding cabinetry, new appliances, and lighting, while (we hope) hearkening back to the home's 1920s Tyrolean roots.
