N&R Construction: NRC HOMES completed this "whole house" remodel of a 1902 home in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood. During the remodel, we dug down, replacing the foundation and lowering the basement floor to achieve a full basement with 9'0" ceilings. We grounded the character of this beautiful old house in its past, matching and replicating the original millwork, while modern design touches make it clear that the house lives in the present day.
